Waynesboro Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Waynesboro Parks & Recreation’s Egg Hunt at Ridgeview Park makes a great family outing to kick off the weekend. The event is free and open to children ages 7 years and younger. Don’t forget a basket for the eggs and candy that little hands collect. After the festivities if your tykes are still energized, it’s just a hop to the playground!

The Frontier Culture Museum in nearby Staunton has a full weekend of Easter activities lined up for visitors. Easter traditions from England, Germany, and early America will include naturally dyeing and decorating eggs, egg bag decorating, and two egg hunts. All activities are included with general admission. Be sure to stop in at the Museum Store for their famous fudge – a yummy addition to those bunny baskets waiting back at home!
